@Bill_D isn’t that title by CNBC a little misleading?
Where do supply chain problems hit into any of these three components for homebuilder sentiment?

  1. Current sales conditions
  2. Sales expectations in the next six months
  3. Buyer traffic climbed 4 points to 65.

@Andrew_Gibson @Bill_D it’s a balance between very low inventory for existing home sales, demand for single family homes all over the country, and the supply chain hurdles builders are experiencing. The supply chain issues affect both markets, the home remodeling and new construction.
All three factors are affecting this homebuilder sentiment and putting more pressure on the construction materials, and specifically lumber.
@william_giguere what do you think? Is there a factor that has a dominant effect?
