Trying to do some more research into the validity of this article but if it’s true then they need our support just as much as we need theirs. Rally happening on the 22nd of this month.

No idea. I haven’t followed this issue but will say that extensive cutting of old growth forests does a massive disservice to the essence of a forest and its ecosystem. This falls under the guise of forest stewardship in management, environmentalism, and the tug-of-war with economic wants. More the need for alternative building materials other than wood-sourced products.

How sad for the old growth forests. Thank you @Jordan_Kirk for bringing this to everyone’s attention and I wholeheartedly agree with @Jeff_Lassle on his stance on this issue. Old growth forests are my old time love
