Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

An eastern winter storm dampened activity in the lumber market yesterday, although a fair number of orders were transacted. Manufactures were especially active buyers. The lack of mill offerings made sourcing inquiries quite challenging. Buyers had to be early in the game to have a chance to what was available from them. There was angst by retailers trying to figure out where prices are and how much more will they climb. The bigger problem was finding and getting the items they have most need of. The lack of supply is most troubling for many concerns.
