The market transitioned last week from one with a hectic sales pace to start the week to one that was more subdued by week’s end. There was more lumber available during the week from the eastern mills, but logistical issues prevented them from delivering in a timely or quick manner and having an impact. The lack of manpower on many fronts was the primary cause. There was some respite with reload deliveries but only to lessen the backlog of overdue and unshipped orders. There are still many more in the queue awaiting attention. Prices appreciated but to a much lesser extent!
