Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was another slower sales day for mills and traders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Many items remain tight in supply and difficult to procure, hindering potential transactions.
Demand and uncertainty prevailed in the marketplace. Many have wants and needs to fill but were undecided as to how much to pay up or how long to wait for the desired materials. With so few mill options to choose from, buyers were hesitant to making commitments when presented with opportunities. Another major obstacle has been the ongoing lack of truckers preventing timely shipments.
