There were many mixed feelings in the lumber market yesterday. There was tension, anxiety, and frustration. There was also hope, but most prominent there was uncertainty. There were willing buyers but there were more procrastinators, unsure of what to do. Should they buy now or wait a day or two? How much lower will prices go? When can I get it? The dilemma being, all have needs, all wanting to buy. Options for product abounded from the mills but their inability to deliver quickly was the primary reason for keeping their sales low.
