Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There were some rumblings, a few orders and better activity to start the new week in the lumber market yesterday. Lower prices and steady takeaway had more clients interested in what was available in the market, especially from the mills. Selective purchases were made but with several eastern Canadian mills away on extended holiday, overall buying decisions were delayed. A good feeling among traders and clients that change is in the air for the market, necessitated preparation. Priorities shifted to knowing what will be needed and where could it be had.
