Stable to higher prices attracted buyers and fueled another busy day in the lumber market yesterday. Clients were more confident the timing was right to step in and do some buying. Traders experienced one of the busier days they have seen in quite a while. Many orders were written. Eastern mills had enough product available to support the hectic activity seen throughout the day, even though some of them were off the market. They took in as many orders as they could, for the limited shipping schedules they were working with, pushing delivery times out to mid-May.

Can confirm. Yesterday was a busy day for sure, especially in comparison to the rest of April.
