Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

The lumber market continued its resurgence yesterday as transactions increased with more willing buyers. Wholesalers bought items they were confident they could re-sell. Traders keyed on items they knew their clients needed. Buyers kept a watchful eye out for any opportunities presented to them. The pace was quick throughout the day. It was also noted a higher level of frustration and anxiousness by many clients on incoming phone calls, wanting and needing quicker deliveries than available. Logistics though continues to play havoc for eastern mills, impacting their shipments and selling philosophies.
