It was a better day of sales in the lumber market yesterday. Demand was steady. Prices were down with the mills were more willing to trade, enabling transactions. Being confident and having a positive mindset helped traders maneuver and succeed through the turmoil and frustrations of the market. The problem was that it was increasingly more difficult to get what you wanted when you needed it. The overall workforce has been subject to a myriad of call ins, hampering efficiencies and getting things done. Delays were growing when many thought improvement was at hand.
