Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

The eastern spruce lumber market stayed on the quieter side yesterday with very little change in dynamics. Prices continued their downward trend and dealers bought limited quantities. Distributors kept the pressure on the mills to getting what they have on order delivered, hoping to get material in place to feed ongoing demand for quick needs. The Montreal Wood Convention concluded yesterday with positive vibes and the reminder of the importance of rekindling old and starting new relationships missed over the last three years.
