There was another dramatic drop in prices in the lumber market last week, deadening traders’ efforts to get orders throughout the week. Although sales were quieter on Friday, there was growing interest by many entities to know what could be bought, at what price it could be bought for and how soon it could be delivered. It is widely believed that overall inventories are low, many concerns remain busy, and that supply chain issues along with logistical problems are continuing. Also noted was that downside risk minimizes with each level prices go down.
