Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Business was steady in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Transactions were not as robust as the day prior, but they were better than they have been in recent days. The increased activity suggested an interest and desire to buy product. The mills did their part by encouraging offers on the items they wanted to move. Some were taken others not. The difference was the willingness and confidence of clients to give firm offers to the mills, something they had not been willing to do lately. Another note of interest was mill shipping order files were pushing to the end of the month.
