Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Orders were not as prolific in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday as they have been earlier this week. Demand was still very good but a lack of quick wood from the eastern mills stymied efforts and more sales. Many of the more sought-after items required quicker shipments. For the most part these were fulfilled to a lesser degree by the various local reloads, albeit at higher prices. There was however continued buying by various entities for deliveries in mid-August, as prices were at levels many felt advantageous to do so.
