Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective!

There was slightly better demand and activity in the lumber market yesterday. After a couple days of lackluster sales, eastern U.S. mills were more aggressive, lowering prices on the selective items they had on the ground and could ship quickly. Client reaction was mixed with some seeing buying opportunities and reacting while others remained more cautious and restrained. There were no easy answers as market uncertainty continued to permeate mindsets and influence buying decisions.
