Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was quieter than most had expected to start the new week in the eastern spruce lumber market. Traders were geared up to sell and do business, but clients were not as energetic or fully involved as hoped. Having covered most of their immediate needs last week, dealers were more reserved and willing to digest before potentially buying more. The eastern mills had a healthy assortment of products to offer with reasonable delivery times. Prices were also consistent among them.
