Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a busy day in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Not so much with orders, although several were transacted, but with sourcing product and seeing what the mills had to offer. Demand dictated that buyers needed to be on point and know what could be had and where. They hoped the mills would have what was needed at or near last Friday’s published prices but found disappointment and a lack of availability. The mills were willing to trade on the accumulations they did have but were firm on the items they did not. This post will be on hiatus until the end of the month.
