The eastern spruce lumber market came back to life yesterday as many traders returned from the Thanksgiving break. Demand was steady throughout the day with orders over a wide spectrum of products. The higher grades commanded the most interest as buyers did their best to have the mills accept the firm offers, they generated. Successes varied depending on the item. Mill production continued to dominate the market making for a difficult trading environment for the mills. Prices though were consistent among them with buyers opting to do business with their mills of choice.
