Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

The activity was slow to start in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday but once started it quickly accelerated with fervor and conviction. Orders flowed to the mills and from the reloads ending with a better than average sales day. Prices varied widely in the marketplace but much of the business transacted was closer to the current market than not. Granted the mills traded on the accumulations they had but those were the exceptions not the rule. A growing number of clients realized value on various items and that the downside risk to prices on them was minimized.
