Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was no letup of the activity and on orders transacted in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Clients were poised to buy especially with prices as low as they are and confident that downside risk is minimized. The mills traded a little in price to keep certain items moving while holding steadfast to items they had little of. Demand was strong throughout the day keeping buyers on their toes, sourcing the myriad of inquiry given them. The lack of availabilities from the mills stymied the potential of more orders being placed, frustrating some.
