The eastern spruce lumber market started the new week with a solid number of orders, all supporting higher mill and distributor asking prices on the items that were for sale. There was not as vast array of products from the eastern mills compared to the last couple of weeks but there were enough to enable traders to have a productive day. Buyers keyed on supply whether from the mills or reloads to supplement the needs they had. Some things were found but not to the satisfaction of buyers. All hoped to have more but production restraints at the mills limited volume and options.
