Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a grind it out day for orders to start the new week in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Demand was lite. Nothing came easy for traders. The eastern mills had product to sell, more so than they did last week. Clients kept a low profile, content with the inventories they had. Distributors kept their purchases to a minimum while applying their inventories against any business they could attract. Buyers lacked the confidence needed to support current market prices feeling that supply will continue to outpace demand at least for the moment.
