Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

There was continued good activity and sales in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Much of the focus from dealers was on fill in and harder to find items. Distributors did their part with the mills by doing the same. Prices were not necessarily the issue but finding the needed products were. Eastern mill options were limited. They did have product but often not the things that buyers sought. Dealers turned to the reloads for the many items they wanted or needed. The market continues to be resilient with prices firmer than anticipated.
