There was solid business transacted yesterday in the eastern spruce lumber market. Product from the reloads was the basis for many of the orders, although much of the demand seen from dealers was not satisfied. Whether it was pricing, shipment, or the fact that many players were away from the market, readying themselves for the Montreal Wood Convention, additional purchases were kept at bay. The question becomes whether there is enough near-term supply to cover the demand seen in the market. Buckle up Baby! We could be in for a ride!
