Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

What started as a slow and inactive day in the eastern spruce lumber market turned busy in the afternoon. Better demand sparked a round of buying by dealers and manufactures. Buyers were successful in obtaining small counters from the mills. It all depended on the mill and what they had to peddle. The market was challenging but hard work and perseverance proved to be the tipping point for traders on getting orders. Prices proved weak on random dimension but remained resilient on stud products. Low grade items were a tough find and firm in price.
