Demand was still vibrant in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday, especially for the lower grade products. With less supply of them and a constant need from the industrial market for them, had these items in vogue. They were the crux of orders transacted yesterday. The higher grades were still sought after but the lack of available product from the mills kept a lid on orders for them. The reloads were able to fill in, but higher than mill pricing limited transactions. Buyers were not chasing the mills, willing to let the market settle and see what they will do and offer going forward.
