Although it seemed a struggle to getting orders yesterday, many did come to fruition, making it a good start to the week in the eastern spruce lumber market. It was up to traders though to seek out demand and put the business together. Those that kept focused were successful at making things happen. The eastern mills had product to sell but they were not deep with the day-to-day trading items, with many inconsistencies among them. Buyers had to do their due diligence and plan accordingly. There was also a fair amount of time spent chasing down shipments, as some were running behind schedule.
