There was better participation from several sources, leveling up activity and the volume of orders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Getting orders was hard work, requiring current market knowledge, anticipation and following through with respective clients. Nothing could be taken for granted. The mills continued taking small counters keeping the flow of orders coming their way, although a fair share of the business transacted was directed towards the reloads and quicker deliveries. Dealer activity livened up as the flow of product through their yards seemed to be accelerating, faster than anticipated.
