Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was another vibrant day of activity and orders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. There was no letup in demand as dealers remained busy with solid takeaway needing continual replenishment. The mills were riddle with voids as to what was available for sale. The reloads picked up the slack not only by having a good variety of items that can be mixed on a truck but by being able to deliver in a timely fashion. Prices were stable yet showing some signs of appreciation. Mill accumulations varied but were selective offering opportunities on not often traded items.
