Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand was steady to start the work shortened week in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. The volume of transactions was consistent to what the market has seen recently with the reloads getting most of the orders but also with sales from wholesale positions. The mills had a fair amount of lumber they could sell that would ship within two weeks. Stud products were more readily available than random length dimension items. Prices were stable with consistency seen among the mills on what they had. Accumulations were restricted to a few items.
