There was continued good demand and activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday sparking a steady flow of orders transacted throughput the day. Much of the business was generated from the reloads but the mills that were in the market also saw some action as their mid-January deliveries sparked interest by retailers wanting to lock in product while having delayed deliveries in getting the material. There was also concern among buyers of the lite and inconsistent supply available from the mills along with the continued rise in published prices.
