Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Yesterday’s demand and activity left off where they did last Friday in the eastern spruce lumber market. Simply put, it was very busy. The eastern mills sold easily and quickly many of the items they had. Their offering lists were thin but there were enough items between them and reload inventories to give traders a strong day of sales. Clients were anxious to find product. There were needs that went unfulfilled from last week that warranted their attention. Some products were tough to source if not impossible to find. Prices moved higher, substantiated by the number of orders transacted.
