There was no letup of demand and activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Traders kept busy sourcing inquiry or putting out offerings to entice their clients, having varying successes. The mills having limited or specific items to sell found business not as fluid as it has been. Their higher asking prices also stalled transactions and deterred buyer interest. Clients did their best to uncover and look at as many options as were available in the market for the things they needed or wanted before reluctantly going back to the mills and paying higher for them.
