There was more life to the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. The mills were much busier than they have been. They looked for and accepted counters on items they wanted to move providing energy to the marketplace. A good number of orders were transacted as a result. Some clients were more receptive and gravitated to the discounted offerings. Others looked for a better opportunity to step in and buy. One common thread seen in the marketplace was that demand was evident and growing.
