There was steady demand and a good number of orders transacted in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Clients were not hesitant to buy the items needed when offered quick shipment at lower prices than seen recently. Distributors took charge of getting the business while several Canadian mills were closed enjoying an extra day off following the Easter Holiday. The mill lists that were available mirrored published prices with little product variations as to what they have contained lately.
