Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Last minute shoppers on Friday kept the eastern spruce lumber market active to close out the week. Many of the eastern mills had retreated into their respective corners after a busy week of selling, to assess what they had left and what they would offer today to start the new week. Prices firmed after several weeks of decline. The mills had better demand for some items more so than others helping to start building an order file on them. Mill shipments are into next week and beyond.
