Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

After a few days of slow sales in the eastern spruce lumber market, some mills were more open minded to trading items they had ready and could ship. Not all products were affected but there were enough to make for sloppy trading and sending mixed signals to the market. Some clients and distributors though saw it as an opportunity and stepped in and bought, feeling that this was a short-lived situation and not at all consistent with most mills and their current selling philosophy.
