The eastern spruce lumber market showed renewed life and vigor to start the new week yesterday. Demand and activity were strong on a variety of products. Many of the orders generated centered around items that have seen good demand and were tight in supply. The mills and distributors both sold, not having to sacrifice much in price to do so. Buyers focused on where prices were on many different items, not wanting to lose track of what things were worth but more importantly where they were available.
