There was no letup of demand and activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. More clients came to the market interested to see what all the ruckus was about and deciding if they should participate also. The mills were firmer in price with the items they had left to sell. They have seen a good uptick of sales on a variety of products as of late, giving them the confidence to be more resilient. With the business transacted so far this week, the market has developed a solid base for them from which to work with.
