Although activity was quieter last Friday, the volume of orders transacted during the week was consistent with what it has been over the previous weeks of the month. Prices were unchanged on most items except for 2x4 which was more plentiful in supply and weaker in price. The mills kept with a philosophy of selling items that were ready to ship and shying away from products that were not. Clients continued buying what was needed and not venturing too far in the future on buying things they might or will need.
