The mills were the focus to start the week in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Distributors used what they had and how soon they could ship to formulate a gameplan on selling their wares in the market, especially with the start of a new month. Little has changed over the last several weeks in the market with supply and demand being consistent. Prices have meandered depending on the item and the source. Some mills have had more than others with some having less than they would like.
