Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

Demand remained steady in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. The mills were busy fielding inquiries but falling short of what they wanted or needed to sell daily. Prices drifted lower as a result. Clients have been steadfast from buying more than needed for the moment with no urgency to do anything different. Expectations among many mills and traders were for a much more active market. Unfortunately, this has not materialized causing frustration, disappointment, and a market many have struggled with.
