Demand was still very evident to close out last week in the eastern spruce lumber market. Orders were difficult to get but there were still clients buying, especially last-minute needs. The mills had their hands in the mix of things, accepting small counters on items they could ship quickly. They were less inclined to do so if material was not on the ground. Prices slipped on many items during the week making it for a challenging trading environment. This post will be on hiatus, returning Monday June 17th.
