Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was a mixed day of activity and sales in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Some traders were busier than others as demand and interest varied from client to client. Many of the orders transacted were supported by distributor’s inventories. The eastern mills did not have as much in the variety of items to offer to start the week as they have had in previous weeks. Accumulations seen were limited on only a few selective items. The Quebec mills were off on holiday with several offices closed.
