Demand strengthened in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday, but the number of orders paled in comparison. There was hesitation and trepidation that crept up among clients that kept the number of transactions lower on the day. Whether it was the lack of options available in the market or the time needed to make decisions, hungry traders did not see or get the orders they were expecting. Eastern mill production and available supply are in check with fewer accumulations noted.
