Although demand and activity were much quieter last Friday, the overall week was on par with the previous weeks of the month. Steady and consistent were terms commonly used to describe the day-to-day demand. More than enough supply though has been the major concern, weighing heavily on prices and influencing buying. The ongoing retreat of them has enabled hesitation and doubt. Clients were more interested in keeping inventories low and manageable, feeling that what is needed can deliver to them in a timely manner.
