Digging out from the long holiday weekend consumed focus and activity in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. There was also good demand from clients that warranted attention as well, keeping many even busier. A wide variety of orders resulted for both the mills and distributors. Supply was adequate to meet most of the needs seen in the marketplace although there was less variety and depth apparent from the mills. Lumber products remained fluid with prices trading in a narrow range.
