Demand was lite yesterday to start the week in the eastern spruce lumber market. It was a typical Monday of client filling in from the reloads. Several eastern Canadian mills returned to work after a two-week shutdown. There was also a Civic Holiday observed in parts of Canada which kept some mills out of the market. Production forecasts and new offering lists will start filtering into the marketplace in the next few days with anxious traders looking to capitalize on any opportunities.
