It was a busy start to the week for traders in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Information was gathered from the mills while tending to the numerous demands of respective clients. Offerings were fragmented from the mills, with no one having a vast variety or accumulations of certain items to sell. The reloads picked up the slack on many instances but there too, some voids were noted. Prices were basically unchanged from last week. The mills did not seem to be under any pressure to sell.
