Bill's Corner- An Eastern Spruce Perspective

It was another busy day in the eastern spruce lumber market yesterday. Various inquiries prompted a growing awareness by many that supply is leaner and not getting better. It was more difficult to source items from the mills and that distributors were also feeling the pinch in supplying specific needs. The mills were resilient to counters despite examples of cheaper numbers bantered in the marketplace. It seemed at times that traders were their own worst enemies, often vying for orders by lowering prices.
